(1) What is answer 1 to your EQ? Be specific in your answer and write it like a thesis statement.
My first answer to my essential question is, "A cadet must be able to excel in their own personal leadership."
(2) What possible evidence do you have to support this answer?
The first piece of evidence is the uniform. A cadet must take their uniform seriously, by this, a cadet is taking care of their uniform is a tool for self-discipline, personal responsibility, and self-respect. The second piece of evidence is drills and commands, with this it shows the self-discipline a cadet has showing their personal leadership. The third piece of evidence is showing respect to those in command, as you give respect to others it improves your own personal leadership.
(3) What source(s) did you find this evidence and/or answer?
Lafond, Curt. "Character and The Air Force Tradition." Learn To Lead. Ed. Neil Probst. Second ed. Vol. One. Civil Air Patrol Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., 2011. Print. Personal Leadership.
